Updating

The BRD currently includes all cases filed through December 31, 2022, a total of 1218.

Data regarding the initial filing is current through December 31, 2022.

Data regarding case dispositions (but not emergences) is current through December 31, 2022.

Refilings data were last updated in July 2022. That updating examined only companies emerging from bankruptcy before January 1, 2017 (searching for refilings prior to January 1, 2022). As to companies emerging later, we have merely recorded refilings that came to our attention.
